PICKERING — The Pickering Red Devils got a stellar pitching performance from Jace Donaldson, who allowed only one hit over five innings, in a 10-0 victory over the Washington-Marion Charging Indians on Monday.

In the win, Donaldson threw only 58 pitches in five innings, 41 of them going for strikes. He had no walks, struck out five batters and hit one.

The Red Devils wasted little time taking the lead, plating a pair of runs in the bottom of the first to move into the lead, which Pickering never relinquished.

After a scoreless second, the Red Devils scored once in the third, six times in the fourth and once with one out to go in the fifth inning to end the game by the 10-run mercy rule.

Kalob Hagan went 3-for-4 to lead the Red Devils offensively, collecting a pair of doubles and two RBIs, along with two runs scored.

Donaldson added a double and an RBI to aid his own cause, while Logan Sneed doubled and scored a pair of runs. Landry Holt and Anthony Berry each added a hit, a run scored and an RBI in the win.
