Rosepine tops Many, Anacoco blanks Fairview

ROSEPINE – Casey Tilley had a solid pitching performance,while Grant Ducote and Logan Calcote each had two hits as the Rosepine Eagles stepped out of district for a 7-1 win over the Many Tigers.
Tilley went 4.1 innings, giving up no runs on two hits with three strikeouts.
Ducote drove in two RBIs, while Calcote had two runs scored and an RBI.
Cadillac Rhone drove in Many's only run.

ANACOCO – Landry Alligood homered, while Reid Rodriguez fired a four-hitter as the Anacoco Indians downed the Fairview Panthers in district play Thursday, 10-0.
Rodriguez struck out seven and surrendered no runs in the win.
Alligood had three hits, including a double and a homer, with two RBIs, while Dylan Fitzgerald added three hits and three RBIs.

Evans…..1
HICKS – Hayden Doyle scattered five hits over five innings, while Dalton Edwards had two RBIs as the Hicks Pirates toppled the Evans Eagles in district play on Thursday, 7-1.
Doyle struck out five and gave up just one run in five innings. Zach Haymon added two hits for the Pirates.
Zane West suffered the loss pitching for Evans, but did collect two hits.

Pleasant Hill….1
PLEASANT HILL – Parker Alexander drove in four runs, while Michael Mason had 11 strikeouts as the Hornbeck Hornets drilled the Pleasant Hill Eagles on Thursday in district play, 16-1.
Caleb Britt drove in three runs and scored twice for Hornbeck. Mason surrendered only one hit in going the distance.

EBARB – Coby Parker and Brayden Cutta each drove in three runs to lead the Simpson Broncos past the Ebarb Rebels on Thursday in district action, 14-0.
Tristin Williams wanted the win pitching, giving up no hits and striking out four in three innings.
Colby Gray and Ethan Nash each added two hits in the win.

PITKIN – Jaxon Perkins, Gage Thompson and Hayden Lavergne each drove in two runs as the Pitkin Tigers beat Singer on Thursday, 10-2.
Ethan West earned the win pitching, giving up seven hits and two runs while striking out six.
In other action, Simpson doubled up on Merryville on Friday, 8-4, DeQuincy downed Rosepine on Thursday, 13-6, and Pickering fell to Oakdale, 10-7.
Additionally, Leesville shut out Bolton, 15-0.
