Anacoco throttles Negreet in non-district outing

ANACOCO – The Anacoco Indians just keep rolling along.

The Indians (31-2) jumped out to a 30-point halftime lead en route to an 81-34 non-district win over the Negreet Indians on Saturday.

Anacoco wasted little time establishing dominance, using a 22-6 run in the first period, while the second was just as bad as the first, putting together a 23-9 surge to claim a 45-15 advantage their break.

The Indians continued to have no mercy as they dominated Negreet, 19-9, to open a 40-point advantage going into the fourth.

Anacoco closed the battle of Indians on a 17-10 run to decide the victory.

Landry Alligood led Anacoco with 25 points and Shaun Riley finished with 13 points.

Cobe Tarpley led Negreet with 13 points.
