Lady Indians victorious; Evans, Hicks cruise

PITKIN – The Anacoco Lady Indians broke open a close game in the second half, downing the Pitkin Lady Tigers in district play, 65-47.

Bailey Davis led Anacoco with 16 points, while Abbie Dowden and Tylar Summitt added 14 and 10 points, respectively.

Morgan McAlister paced Pitkin with 14 points, with Abby Robinson and Heidi Nelson coming in with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Hornbeck Lady Hornets…47

HORNBECK – The Evans Lady Eagles had four players score in double figures on Tuesday in an 82-47 district win over the homesteading Hornbeck Lady Hornets.

Riley Haus finished with 21 points to lead Evans, while Bailey Ramsey came in with 18 points. Triniti Bridges and Madi Gollihugh added 15 and 13 points, respectively.

Hannah Dahlhoff led Hornbeck with 16 points.

Hicks Lady Pirates….87

Simpson Lady Broncos…31

SIMPSON – The Hicks Lady Pirates had four players in double figures Tuesday night in an 87-31 win over the Simpson Lady Broncos.

Avery Coffman had 20 points to lead the Lady Pirates, while Lauren Quinn added 19 points. Chloe Wilbanks finished with 17 points, while Reese Stephens chipped in with 14 points.

Piper Shirley scored 13 points to lead Simpson.
