By Emily Burleigh

 ‘Author!! Author!!’

Gallery One Eleven will be partnering with the Leesville Main Street District and the Leesville Junior League for “Author!! Author!!” starting at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21.

Authors of all genres – children’s, historical, romance, mystery – will gather on the sidewalks of the Main Street District to talk with locals and share their stories.

Gallery One Eleven will host four of these authors: David Holcombe, State Rep. Charles Owens, James R. Turner and Char White.

The featured artists are affiliated with the gallery.

Gallery One Eleven, 111 Third St., will have on-hand information on being published from Wise Publication of Sulphur.

‘All Together Now’

The Gallery will also open a multi-artist show on Nov. 4.

“All Together Now” will feature the diverse art of nine artists from Central La.: Madilyn Anderson, Cindy Blair, Barbara Clover, Jerry Havens, Maria Manemann, Nancy Noles, Bridie Rollings, Chastity Smith and Kelvin Spears.

An artists reception will be held at 5 p.m. on opening day with food catered by Kai’s Island Grill.

At 3 p.m. on Nov 4., the gallery will also host a dedication ceremony for six new installations at the Leesville Art Park.
