Funeral services for Peggy Jean Sellers, 70, of Anacoco will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Joey Rudisill officiating. Burial will follow in the Craft Cemetery in Leesville under
the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 4-9 p.m. Nov. 11 and from 8 a.m. until the time of service on Nov. 12 at the funeral home.
Peggy, the daughter of John Albert and Mazie
Marie Salard DeLacerda, was born on May 8, 1941, in Chopin. She passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She was a resident of Anacoco and Vernon Parish for most of her life. Mrs. Sellers was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. She was a longtime member of Cold Springs Homemakers Clubs. She loved genealogy, gardening and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bruce Sellers of Anacoco; sons, Keith
Allison and wife Cindy of Pickering, and Mike Sellers and wife Tammy of Gardener; daughters, Sonia Hyatt and husband Donald of Pickering, and Georgette Courtney and husband Archie of Richlands, N.C.; brother, Dale DeLacerda of Simpson; sisters, Emily
Sellers of Anacoco, Trina Hall of Crocker, Mo., and Debra Ellzey of Simpson; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
