The following menus for March 20-24 for Vernon schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

Lunch

MONDAY: Hamburger on a whole-wheat bun, French fries, ranch-style beans, lettuce/tomato/pickle cup, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, steamed rice, potato salad, seasoned green beans, peach crunch, ice cream, crackers.

WEDNESDAY: Sloppy Joe on a whole-wheat bun, potato rounds, green lima beans, fruit.

THURSDAY: Chili con carnie, whole-grain rice, mustard greens, orange wedges, whole-wheat cornbread.

FRIDAY: Cheese nachos, corn on the cob, ranch-style beans, apple wedges.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Waffles, fruit.

TUESDAY: Assorted cereal, cinnamon graham cracker, fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Cinnamon roll, hashbrowns, pears.

THURSDAY: Oatmeal, buttered whole-grain toast, orange wedges.

FRIDAY: French toast sticks, orange wedges.
