The following menus for Jan. 23-27 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

Lunch

MONDAY: Steak finger basket, mashed potatoes with gravy, Italian-seasoned green beans, peaches, whole-wheat roll, salad bar.

TUESDAY: Beef and cheese pizza, steamed whole-kernel corn, mixed fruit, ice cream cup, taco salad cup, salad bar.

WEDNESDAY: Oven-baked chicken, steamed cabbage, candied sweet potatoes, fruit Jell-O cup, whole-wheat cornbread.

THURSDAY: Salisbury steak with gravy, whole-grain rice, sweet peas, fruit, sherbet, whole-wheat roll, salad bar.

FRIDAY: Chili hot dog, French fries, ranch-style beans, fruit, coleslaw.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Whole-grain grits, sliced ham, fruit.

TUESDAY: Oatmeal, buttered whole-grain toast, orange wedges.

WEDNESDAY: French toast sticks, sausage patty, pear halves.

THURSDAY: Breakfast burrito, chilled mixed fruit.

FRIDAY: Assorted cereal, cinnamon graham cracker, pineapple tidbits.
