The Leesville Mayor’s Women’s Commission recently presented their November 2022 Civic Awards for Beautification to two Leesville citizens.

The residential winner was Father Kenneth Michiels who lives at 202 West Harriet St. The flower garden in front of his home is still providing a splash of color to lift the spirits of all who pass by.

The commercial winner was Thornton Accounting located at 902 South 5th St. The entrance is flanked by potted plants including chrysanthemums and a very attractive hibiscus with a trailing potato plant.
