The following menus for Oct. 24-28 for Vernon schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

Lunch

MONDAY: Chicken shoestrings, creamy mashed potatoes, gravy, seasoned green beans, mixed fruit, whole-wheat roll, salad bar.

TUESDAY: Whole-grain spaghetti and meat sauce, steam corn, toss salad cup, whole-wheat garlic bread, watermelon, salad bar.

WEDNESDAY: Corndog, baked beans, oven-baked fries, mixed fruit, salad bar.

THURSDAY: Chicken breast patty, potato tots, steamed broccoli, oatmeal raisin cookie, apricots, salad bar.

FRIDAY: Tater tots, Mexicana corn, taco salad cup, fruit, raisin breads, salad bar.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Pancake sausage stick, pear halves.

TUESDAY: Assorted cereal, buttered whole-grain toast, cantaloupe.

WEDNESDAY: Breakfast wrap, fruit.

THURSDAY: Pancakes, sausage patty, fruit.

FRIDAY: Blueberry snackin waffles, cantaloupe.
