Lady Cats rip Many, Rosepine wins two

LEESVILLE — Three Leesville players reached double figures as the Lady Cats dumped the Many Tigers on Monday night, 46-28.
The Lady Cats led by just eight points at the break, but a 20-5 outburst in the third period proved to be the difference in the contest as Leesville defeated their neighbors from Sabine Parish.
Shyann McCummings led Leesville with 13 points, while Kathryn Keys came in with 12 points. Amaya Thomas added 10 points in the win. No scorers were reported for Many.

PICKERING — The Pickering tandem of Ariana Yates and Alexus Hood combined for 46 points as the Lady Red Devils downed the Starks Lady Panthers on Tuesday night, 53-45.
Yates led the Lady Red Devils with 27 points, while Hood finished with 19 points.

DRY CREEK — The Hornbeck Lady Hornets opened up a big lead at the end of three quarters and held on for a 55-48 road win over the East Beauregard Lady Trojans on Tuesday.
Hannah Dahlhoff had 14 points to lead Hornbeck and was the only player to reach double figures for the Lady Hornets. Hayley Weaver paced East Beauregard with 15 points, while Camryn Reeves and Darian Rutherford added 14 and 11 points, respectively.

DEQUINCY — The Evans Lady Eagles wasted little time in taking control en route to a 64-40 win over the DeQuincy Lady Tigers on Monday night in non-district action.
Riley Haus led Evans with 19 points, while Triniti Bridges and Madi Gollihugh added 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Alysa Braxton had 14 to lead DeQuincy.

ROSEPINE — After a sluggish first half, the Rosepine Lady Eagles came to life in the second half to destroy the Pleasant Hill Lady Eagles, 70-22.
Addison Fruge scored 20 points to lead Rosepine, while Navaeh Rivera finished with 14 points. Taylor Farris and Kelly Norris added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

PITKIN — Three Oak Hill players reached double figures as the Lady Rams picked up a big road win over the Pitkin Lady Tigers on Tuesday night, 74-56.
Emma Tucker had 23 points to pace Oak Hill, while Alexis Dyer notched 22 points. Natalie Boone finished with 15 points for the Lady Rams. Pitkin was led by Tucker Perkins 14, Abby Robinson 12, Natalee Nolen 11, Heidi Nelson 10

ROSEPINE — The Rosepine offense was on full display on Monday night as they dismantled the DeRidder Lady Dragons, 86-18.
Addison Fruge led Rosepine with 28 points, while Navaeh Rivera finished with 19 points. Taylor Farris chipped in with 10 points. DeRidder got seven points from Lea Lewis.

PITKIN — Kaiya Causey poured in 25 points to lead the visiting Negreet Lady Indians to a 72-55 win over the Pitkin Lady Tigers.
Emma Peace finished with 20 points for the Lady Indians, while Hannah Eidson chipped in with 13 points.
