Vernon sheriff announces Dec. 13-17 arrests

Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft reports the following arrests that occurred between Dec. 13 and Dec. 17:

Dec. 13

Tiffany Freeze, 25, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Theft. Freeze remains incarcerated at the Sabine Parish Detention Center with bond set at $7,500.

Joe Carson Brown, Jr., 62, was arrested on two outstanding bench warrants. Bond was denied on both Bench Warrants and a detainer for the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole. Brown remains in the VPSO Jail.

Dec. 15 

Johnneice B. Jackson, 55, of Leesville, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant. Bond was set at $1,500 and Jackson remains in the VPSO Jail.

Dec. 16 

Michael Sterling, 55, of Anacoco, was arrested and charged with one count of Disturbing the Peace; Language. Bond was set at $881. Sterling posted bond and was released.

Damien Tyler Kraft, 25, of Leesville, was arrested by agents with the Vernon Narcotics Task Force. He was charged with one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic (methamphetamine). Bond was set at $9,061. Kraft remains in the VPSO Jail.

Dec. 17

Evelyn Nichole Stracener, 32, of Leesville, was arrested on two outstanding bench warrants. Bond was set at $3,000. Stracener posted bond and was released.

Christopher Lee Scott, 38, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic (methamphetamine). Bond was set at $7,500. Scott posted bond and was released.
