Betty Ann Presley Williams
Needville – Betty Ann Presley Williams, 73, of Needville, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side Sunday June 13, 2021.
A
celebration of her life will be held July 3, 2021 at 10 AM at the Williams Family Cemetery located at 1296 Burr Cemetery Road, Anacoco, LA. Brother Herrington from Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church will be officiating.
Betty was born to J.T.
and Ruby Lee Presley on January 31, 1948 in Pasadena, TX, where she was also raised. She met the love of her life Corbie Lynn Williams Sr., and when he asked, she said “yes” and on September 15, 1965 they said “I DO” in Richmond, Texas. They had six
children together and raised them in the small town of Burr Ferry, LA. Once a city girl…. now a country bumpkin.
Betty was a stay at home mom who loved spending time with family and close friends. She enjoyed doing yard work, planting
flowers, taking cruises, and playing solitaire. Her pets were her babies and she loved them until the end.
Betty was very kind and generous, always helping those in need. With her contagious smile and warm presence how could anyone forget
such an amazing woman. She leaves behind an indelible mark on all who knew her. She loved her children and her children loved her.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Corbie Lynn Williams Sr., mother, Ruby Lee Presley, father J.T.
Presley and great grandson Leo Egan.
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, and nieces.
