Darren Joseph Miller, 50, of Rosepine, LA, passed
from this life on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

Darren and the crew loved to cook for the Rosepine Eagles baseball team. Cooking was a passion of Darren’s, that he shared with many by cooking for any occasion. He was the guy that was
always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Darren was generous and caring like his daddy. He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of twenty-four years, Lisa
Carroll Miller of Rosepine, LA; son, Ethan Miller of Rosepine, LA; daughter, Laiken Miller of Rosepine, LA; sisters, Mona Sue Batts of Grand Lake, LA, JoAnn Miller and Faye of Austin, TX; father and mother-in-law, Wade and Pam Carroll of Rosepine,
LA; brother-in-law, Wade Carroll, Jr. and Shirley of Rosepine, LA; nanny, Myrna Conner; parrain, Huey “Pluto” Mhire; nephews, Paul Batts, Brennan Batts, Justin Carroll and Lily, Dylan Carroll; nieces, Julie Batts, Linzie Sommer and Justin, Amy
Carroll Meche and Colby, Sydney Carroll; great nephews, Cayden Meche, Bennett Meche; a host of cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Wynona Miller; sister, Sandra “Bell” Hession;
brother-in-law, Wayne Batts; grandparents, Joe and Cloriane Miller.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue at 9:00 AM until time of service at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 4, 2021 at
Unity Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Brother Lloyd Carroll and Brother Wayne Chance will officiate the service. The Real Heavy Lifters will be Scott Nunez, Raymond White, Justin Sommer, Justin Carroll, Brad Saltzman, Charles “Bozo” Hebert, Laron
White, Paul Batts, Colby Meche, Jamey Carroll, Kevin Wonner, Lonnie Nugent. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Bullock, Vince Martin, Jonathan Willis, Uncle Bob Hession, Wade Carroll, Jr., Brennan Batts, Brandon Trahan, Bennett Meche, Cayden Meche,
John Campbell, Barry Barrett. Burial will follow at New Lewis Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.

Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
