EZ Street Delivery celebrated it’s two year anniversary at the Amerisafe Pavilion in DeRidder on Wednesday. Since 2019, EZ Street Delivery has become the premier food delivery service in the local community.

With their convenient smartphone app, residents can order food from a wide variety of local restaurants and have it delivered to them. EZ Street Delivery has expanded since its inception, and are now partnered with 223 restaurants. EZ Street Delivery operates in Leesville, DeRidder, Natchitoches, Many, and Alexandria.

Travis Pew and Wayne Rider are the founders of EZ Street Delivery.

The duo came up with the idea for EZ Street Delivery while they were both working at Wheel Mart selling cars. They spoke at work and would meet several times a week outside of work to discuss ideas. Through their combined hard work and dedication, they’ve seen their business achieve impressive growth in a relatively short amount of time.

EZ Street Delivery’s expansion has also included the services they provide. In addition to delivering food from local restaurants, EZ Street Delivery now delivers groceries to customers as well. The company also is permitted to deliver alcohol.

EZ Street Delivery continued to succeed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and were able to help out local restaurants who could not open for indoor dining due to social distancing mandates. Ryder and Pew expressed a lot of pride in being able to help out local businesses during a tumultuous year.

The two co-founders reflected on how far EZ Street Delivery has come in such a short time.

“It’s still a little unbelievable how well it’s taken off in all of our cities,” Ryder said. “It’s been a great ride. We actually thrived during the pandemic, and we were really able to help out a lot of restaurants.”

Pew expressed a similar sentiment, thinking back on how much labor went into making EZ Street Delivery what it is today.

Pew said: “Two years later, I think the biggest thing I think about is just how much hard work went into it.”

Pew and Ryder also expressed how thankful they are for the support of the community and organizations like the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce and the Vernon Parish Chamber of Commerce.

Pew said: “We couldn’t do it alone. Getting the support from the local communities and the local chambers of commerce means a lot to us.”

The EZ Street Delivery app can be downloaded on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. For more information, visit their website at www.ez-street.biz.
