LONGVILLE – The South Beauregard Lady K's held off a strong second-half effort by the Jennings Lady Dogs on Tuesday, posting a 53-46 district victory.

South Beauregard owned an 11-9 lead after one quarter of play and used an 11-8 advantage in the second to claim a 22-17 cushion at the intermission.

The Lady K's extended their lead to eight points by the end of the third period, 38-30.

However, Jennings continued to battle and managed to cut into the SBHS lead in the fourth. But the Lady K's persevered and claimed the victory.

Kayleigh Hudler led the Lady K's with 19 points, the lone player to reach double figures for SBHS.

Zy Etienne paced the Lady Dogs with 14 points, while Anna Teagan finished with 10 points.
