Timothy (Tim) Locklear, RN, has accepted the position of Director of Emergency Services at Beauregard Health System in DeRidder, Louisiana, effective December 14th, 2020.

Locklear has served as a charge and triage nurse and has been involved in direct patient care in the Emergency Department at Beauregard Health System since 2018. He has worked as a mentor and preceptor for new nurses and most recently served as the point person for the Meditech implementation for the Emergency Department. “Locklear has proven to be an asset to our Emergency Department and organization. I have no doubt that he will be successful in his new leadership role and will continue to be a strong mentor and advocate for our nursing team,” said Kie McNabb, CNO.

With a decade of nursing and patient care experience, Locklear recently completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University. “I am very excited for the opportunity to further my nursing career and will strive to provide our community with the exceptional emergency care it deserves,” Locklear said
