DaMon Dyrell Thomas, 45, of San Antonio, TX,
passed from this life on Monday, December 7, 2020.

DaMon was a native of Colfax, LA, but moved to New Llano with family at an early age. Later in his life, he moved to San Antonio, TX, after retiring from the Army. He was
baptized at an early age at Mt. Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Colfax, LA by Reverend Albert Sykes. In high School, DaMon was a member of the JRTC program until graduation. He then joined the US Army, after serving his time he went into the Louisiana
National Guard and was employed by Swift Trucking Company. DaMon never met a stranger, even if you had car trouble on the side of the road. He enjoyed putting smiles on peoples faces by making his famous cheese cake. He also loved fixing things that
were broken or not working. DaMon was a helper and giver of time, support, patience and love. DaMon loved everyone and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Williams of New Llano, LA; father, Eugene Tolbert of Colfax, LA; brothers, Quarterrious Sykes of DeRidder, LA, Jon Williams of Irving, TX, Jamel Kirklin of Fayetteville, NC, Joshua Bledsoe of LaMarque, TX; sisters, Sylvia Kirklin of Cary NC, LaCreas
Eugena Bledsoe of Texas City, TX; grandmother, Sylvia Lee Tolbert of Montgomery, LA; stepbrothers, Torry Williams and Lawrence Williams, both of Clarksville, TN; stepsister, Stacey Douglas of South Carolina; fur baby, Peaches; and a host of aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Thurston Williams; grandparents, Johnny and Rusell Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December
15, 2020 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Fred Hooper will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jon Williams, Bernard Sykes, John Hooper, Brian Hooper, Eugene Battles, Michael
Kunzel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamal Kirklin, Joshua Bledsoe, Jerome Pruitt, Curtis Bass, Maurice Stephens, Andre Antoine, Dale Vergott. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.

Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
