Funeral services for Theresa Mathilde Sterling,
83, of Anacoco, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with the Rev. Alan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be
Friday, March 1, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
Theresa was born on January 13, 1936 in Bayreuth, Germany. She passed away on February 27, 2019 in the Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
She enjoyed cooking and
gardening but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her boys. Theresa loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Theresa is preceded in death by her father, Max Maisel and her husband of 43 years, Gilbert
Wayne Sterling.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Raymond Sterling of Alexandria, Michael Sterling & wife, Tanya of Anacoco, Gregory Sterling of Pensacola and one grandson, Robert Hamby of South Dakota.
