The Celebration of Life for Mr. Johnnie Thomas
Jr., 82, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 1:00 PM at New Willow Baptist Church, 443 Redtown Road, Leesville, Louisiana, with Pastor Harrison Fields, Sr., officiating. Family and friends visitation will be from
12:00PM until 1:00 PM at New Willow Baptist Church. Burial will immediately follow the services in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, in Leesville, Louisiana under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.

Johnnie, the son of Johnnie and Viola Thomas Sr., was born February 7, 1935, in Ferriday, Louisiana. Johnnie passed away at his residence in Leesville on Monday, September 25, 2017.

Johnnie is preceded in death by his wife
Dorothy L. Thomas, his parents Johnnie and Viola Thomas Sr., his sister Honor Ray Lewis, his daughters Debra S. Bourne, Viola Thomas Patrick and his son Jimmie Thomas.

Johnnie is survived by four sons: Harold D. (Shirley)
Thomas of Amite, Louisiana, Charles E. Thomas of Leesville, Louisiana, Mark A. (Rachel) Thomas of LaPlace, Louisiana, and Johnnie III (Chastity) Thomas of Leesville, Louisiana; two sister-in-law’s: Gloria Terrell of Los Angeles, California
andDoretha, Alexander of Vidalia, Louisiana; and two brother-in-law’s: Lionel Lewis of Ferriday, Louisiana and Jonus Williams of Ferriday, Louisiana.

Johnnie is survived by eleven grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren
and great-great grandchildren. Additionally, he leaves to cherish his memory nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
