Funeral services for Herbert D. Copeland, 63, of Anacoco, La will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in the Beech Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Anacoco.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. on
Saturday, April 8th until service time Sunday in the Church.
Mr. Copeland was born on November 15, 1953, in Pineville, LA. He passed away on April 5, 2017, in the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
He retired after
21 years of service with the Leesville Police Department. He then drove a truck for Walmart for 17 years. He loved to hunt and be outdoors. He loved his church family and he spent all f the time he could at church.
Mr. Copeland was
preceded in death by his parents, Herbert H. and Alma Lee Haymon Copeland.
He is survived by his sister and brother in law, Annis & Richard Nichols of Anacoco, LA; his adopted family, Mrs. Ella Mae Noble, Ken & Gail, and Dianne
& Carl; two nephews, E.J. Nichols and Wayne Copeland and one niece, Kim Copeland.
