Graveside services for Barbara Ann Cox Young of
Little Flock Community (Many) will be held Friday, November 18, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Beckcom Cemetery in Hornbeck, with the Rev. Daniel Davis officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Barbara,
the daughter of Marion E. and Telitha Bell Arnold Cox was born on December 31, 1934 in Many. She passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, in Many.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Allen Hampton; grandson,
Aaron Hampton; and brothers, Lige Cox “Junior”, Marion Cox “Sappo”, Leslie “War Hero” Cox, Carl Cox, Roy Lee Cox.
Barbara was down to earth, and simply loved the simple things in life. She loved hunting and fishing.
She is
survived by her sons, Kenneth Hampton of Hornbeck, Benjamin Hampton of Hornbeck and James Hampton of South Carolina; brothers James Floyd Cox of Winnie, Texas, Calvin Roy Cox of Pasadena Texas; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and Special
friend Tim and Ruth Braud of Little Flock Community.
