Funeral services for Theresa Gregg Ford, 67, of
Leesville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2016, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will be scheduled for a later date.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 14, 2016 from noon until time of service.
Terry was born on September 15, 1949 to Willie Amelia Gregg and Ada Mae Reed Gregg. She was a long-time resident of Vernon Parish. She had more recently relocated to Baton Rouge to be with her daughter and family.
Terry was a
graduate of Leesville High School and dedicated 38 years of service in the 30th Judicial District Court. She took great pride in her service to our judicial system and was most proud of her work that was even seen by the Louisiana State Supreme
Court. Terry was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Amelia Gregg; mother, Ada Mae Gregg; and her sister, Billye Pegues.
She is survived by her
son, Thomas Ford, Jr. (Nancy Shelley Ford) of Nashville, Tenn. and her daughter, Tabatha Zalewski Behan (Thomas Behan) of Prairieville; two brothers, Jerry Gregg (Marilyn) and Mike Gregg; three sisters, Sue Rourke, Kay Brown (Robert), and Eva
Scoggins (Burnell); and five grandchildren, Jon Ford, Ben Ford, Peyton Zalewski, Jacob Zalewski, and Kevin Behan.
Terry’s family would like to thank all of her caregivers, nurses and doctors for their compassionate care and support.
