Services for Mrs. Bonnie Kay Detwiler Coleman will
be held on Monday, July 11, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Pine Hill Baptist Church, 128 Pine Hill Church Rd., Leesville, with Rev. Trye Evans officiating.
Mrs. Coleman was born July 30, 1949, in Columbus, Ga. to William Lewis and Nora May
Threlkell Detwiler and passed away in Leesville on July 3, 2016 at the age of 66.
She helped raise her siblings until she got married the day she turned 16. In 1980, she and her family moved to Leesville where her husband retired and she
worked for several nursing homes as a nursing assistant. She loved her Lord and being with her family and she especially being MeMaw Bonnie.
Preceding her in death was a son, Ronald James Coleman; her parents; brothers, William Palmer
Detwiler and Leonard Jarrell Detwiler; and sisters, Mable Laverne Detwiler Gilmore and Loree Turetha Detwila Conaway.
Survivors are her husband, Ralph William Coleman; her sons, Donald Dwayne Coleman and John Michael Parks-Coleman; her
daughters, Tiffany Gayle Hernandez, Bianca Celeste Good, and Heather Christine Boone; her daughter-in-law, Nicole Wimpy; her son-in-law, Daniel Wimpy, her sisters, Carolyn Sue Detwiler Lyons, Beverly Ann Detwiler Hussey, Peggy Louise
Detwiler Simmers, and Wanda Lee Detwiler; her brothers, Harold Louis Detwiler and Richard Wayne Detwiler; and her grandchildren,Coleman, Dylan Paul Stracener, Brian Zacharian Boone, and James Robert Wimpy.
