Funeral services for Christopher O’Banion, Sr., 72, of Leesville will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Pine Hill Baptist Church in Leesville, with Rev. Tri Evans and Rev. Durhl R. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in
the Pine Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Friday, July 1, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the church.
Christopher, the son of Joseph and Essie Bricker O’Banion, was
born on September 27, 1943, in Leesville. He passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, in Rosepine.
Mr. O’Banion was auto mechanic and was a Deacon at Pine Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife,
Thelma O’Banion; sons, Christopher Eric O’Banion, Jr., & Thomas O’Banion and daughter, Glenda O’Banion.
He is survived by his daughters, Sonya Gayle O’Banion of Rosepine, Cindy & husband, Russell Lyon of DeRidder and Lawanda and
husband, Brian Case of Dallas, Texas; daughter-in-law, Brenda O’Banion of Leesville; grandchildren, Thomas, Kimberly, Lee, Patrick, Emily, Rebecka, Jamie, Olivia and Darbi, and 14 great-grandchildren.
