Funeral services for US Army Retired CSM Bobby G.
Pendley, 80, of New Llano will be held Wednesday, June 29 at 3 p.m. in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will be at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29 from 1 p.m. until service time
in the funeral home.
Bobby was born Feb. 23, 1936, the son of James and Iladean Pendley, in Lynn, Ala.. He passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 in DeRidder.
Bobby retired from the US Army as a Command Sergeant Major. He served
two tours in Vietnam and was also a Purple Heart recipient. After his retirement from the Army he worked as a security guard at Boise Cascade for 10 years. He was a member of the Retired American Legion in New Llano and was an avid Alabama Crimson
Tide Fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Shirley Lee Pendley.
He is survived by his daughter, Penny J. McCollough of Pitkin; sister, Janice Weldon of Jasper, Ala.; grandchildren, Jarryd, Kaitlin, Justus,
Angelica and Farrion; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Matthew, Noah, Eli, Hudson, Raelyn and Benjamin.
