Dorothy Arlene Ford Gibson, 84, of DeRidder,
departed this life on April 30,2016.
She was the mother of seven children. She was an active church member and musician for many years.
Ms. Ford is survived by three daughters, Mable, Sharon, and Margenette, all of DeRidder;
two sons, Clifford (Jeanie) of DeRidder, and Gary (Terrie) of Pickering; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5:00
pm until 9:00 pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral
Home in DeRidder.
Funeral services will be held at Norris Memorial COGIC on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Pinegrove Cemetery, Hawthorne.
