Gloria Lee Irey
Funeral services for Gloria Lee Irey, 66, of Rosepine were held Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 10 am at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. Mark Christian officiating. Burial followed in the
Drakes Fork Cemetery near Cravens.
Gloria, the daughter of Walter and Jessie Lee Hennigan Dailey, was born on February 23, 1950, in Alexandria. She passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, in DeRidder.
Gloria lived most of her
life in Alexandria and Leesville, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Northwestern State University. She was a former teacher at Delta School of Business in Lake Charles and was also formerly a business manager for contractors at
Conoco, Inc. in Westlake. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville.
She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Irey of Rosepine; two daughters, Charlotte Dawn Thibodeaux (Tony) of DeRidder, and Andrea Irey Wyatt
of Belton, Texas; one sister, Debbie Foster of Winnfield; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
