Funeral services for Merrill Coffman will be held
on Monday, March 21, 2016, 10:00 AM at The Church House, 2013 Alexandria Hwy., Leesville,with Pastors Lorraine Smith and Mike Leger officiating. Burial to follow in Flatwoods Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016, from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at The Church House.
Merrill Coffman was born on April 10, 1959, to Odis and Margie Coffman at Ft. Polk and passed away his residence in Simpson at the age of 56.
He was a 1977 graduate of Simpson High School.
Merrill was a member of The Church House in Hicks. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother,
friend, and faithful Christian whom devoted his life to his family and church. He
loved motorcycles, race cars, golf, sports, and LSU. He enjoyed life on the go. His smile would light up any room and bless everyone who met him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his
parents: Odis and Margie Coffman, sisters: Haroldleane Meguess, Martha Ann McDaniel, Bertha Rae Hickey, and brother: James Stuckey.
He is survived by his three children: Jeremy Coffman and wife Tiffany of Denham Springs, Lydia Skeen and
husband Wade of Derby, Kan., and Alicia Fredieu of Alexandria; grandchildren: Kaileigh, Alexzander, and Gannon Coffman, Morgan and Sadie Fredieu, Isabella and Jonas Skeen; Sisters: Ellen Wise, Betty Neal, Dorothy Pittman, Melbin Phillips and
Charlotte Rogers; brothers: Charles Stuckey and Dewey Coffman.
