Funeral services for James Louis Hagan, 60, of
Burr Ferry were at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday February 16 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Rev James Herrington and Rev. Tri Evans
officiated with the burial to follow at the Burr Ferry Cemetery.
James was the
son of Louis James and Juanita Jordan Hagan. He was born February 8, 1956 in Houston, Texas. He passed Sunday, February 14, 2016 at his residence.
James lived most of his life in Burr Ferry. He attended school in Evans from kindergarten
until his graduation from Evans High School. He worked as a truck driver and a mechanic. He loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends, and he especially loved spoiling his grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Louis “Bud” Hagan.
James is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 33 years, Brenda Hagan; son, Clinton Hagan both of Burr Ferry; daughter and son-in -law, Melissa and Jeff Kay and Zachary Kay, all of Leesville, and his mother,
Juanita Stanley of Burr Ferry and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
