Funeral services for Roger Dale Bailey will be
held Saturday, February 13 at 11 a.m. in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, with Rev. Travis Murray officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2016, at 4:00 p.m – 8p.m. and Saturday February 13, 9:00 till time of service
Roger was born to Verner Ramsey and Geneva B. Bailey on April 24, 1949 in DeRidder. He went home to be with his Lord and
Savior on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at age 66.
He graducated from DeRidder High School, where he played football. He was a former employee for 21 years at Beauregard Electric Corp. He was the owner and operator of Rogers Tree Service where
he was an arborist.
He is survived by his sons; Brandon Quinn Bailey of Corpus Christi, Texas, Wesley Earl Bailey of Leesville; daughter Ashley Anne Bailey of Valdosta, Ga.; brother, Kenneth Randel Bailey (Gayle) of DeRidder; 2
grandchildren Maebea Anne Godwin and Raivyn Lenore Godwin.
