Funeral services for Melinda Bennett Bolton, 66, of Provencal will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Provencal with Rev. Gil Arthur and Rev. Bruce Mitchell officiating. Burial
will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Bellwood, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Friday, December 25, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville
and on Saturday, December 26th, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Melinda, the daughter of Alfred Benton Clayton and Frances Anita Lay Davis was born December 12, 1949, in Leesville. Mrs. Bolton passed away on Tuesday,
December 22, 2015, at her residence in Provencal.
She is survived by her husband, Dudley Bolton of Provencal; her children, Benjamin Clayton Bennett of Provencal, Shannon Bolton of China, Dawn Gandy of Provencal and Bridgette Birdwell of
Marthville; sister, Ruthie Elaine Krantz of Texas and eight grandchildren.
