Memorial service for Mrs. Susan Marie Pilgrim will
be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the East Leesville Baptist Church, 266 Alexandria Hwy, Leesville, La.
Mrs. Pilgrim was born on July 21, 1971 in Camp Hill, Penn., to Robert and Mary Ann Clark and passed away on Monday,
Aug. 17, 2015, in her home at the age of 44 in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. She was raised in St. Louis, Miss., but had traveled extensively for the past 21 years as the wife of an Army Officer.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and a
devoted daughter. She made friends in every community she lived in and always contributed in every way to make a positive difference. The place she considered home was always Leesville, La. and the wonderful friends she made here over the years
during multiple assignments to Fort Polk.
Survived by her husband Lieutenant Colonel John L. Pilgrim and their son, John R. Pilgrim who was a 2014 Leesville High School graduate; parents Robert F. and Mary Ann Clark, sisters Judi Estes and
Mary Schroer of St. Louis, Missouri and brothers Jerry Clark of Mamaroneck, New York and Bob Clark of St. Louis, Missouri; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
