Graveside services for Eugene “Ham” Elmer Behan
were held on Friday, July 17, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery, Hornbeck, La., under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 7 p.m. until time of service on Friday at
Prewitt’s Chapel, Hornbeck, La.
Ham was born on Aug. 17, 1928, in Sabine Parish to Aulcia and Katie Behan. He loved the outdoors and hunting. Also, he was an excellent cook and really enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Behan and his parents, Aulcia and Katie Behan.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Eugene Behan of Many, La., and daughter, Doris Ann Dowden (Charles) of Hornbeck, La.
Grandchildren: Angela Averitt (Larry), Tandy Killian (Kevin), Charles Eugene Dowden, Trent Behan (Jennifer), Tammy Mitchell (Greg), Tonya Windham (Dobber); 17 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
