Funeral services for Jamie R. Coney, 50, of
Leesville will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Joseph Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of
Leesville.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 17 from noon until service time at the church.
Jamie, the son of Theddis R. and June Shade Coney, was born Jan. 12, 1964 in Leesville. He passed away on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015 in
Leesville.
He is survived by his wife, Tamara Coney of Palestine, Texas; son, Jamie R. Coney, Jr. of Houston, Texas; daughters, Kathryn Coney Carew of LaPorte, Texas, Jasmine Coney of Houston, Texas, Jaysa Coney, Jaylee Coney and Jayana
Coney, all of Palestine, Texas; mother, June Coney, of Leesville; brothers, Justin Coney of Lake Charles and Jamarcus Coney of Missouri City, Texas; and sister, Julia Coney-Walters of Hyattsville, Md.
