Clara Lee Toney

Funeral services celebrating the life of Clara Lee
Seaman Toney were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3 at East Leesville United Pentecostal Church. Officiating was her son, James Toney, and Rev. Wesley Manning. Interment followed at Castor Cemetery.
Visitation was held Friday, Jan. 2
from 5–9 p.m. at East Leesville United Pentecostal Church.
Clara was born on Oct. 27, 1943 in Lake Charles and passed away on Dec. 29, 2014 in Alexandria. Clara grew up in Lake Charles and graduated from Marion High School, where she was a
majorette in the band. She married Thomas E. Toney and moved to Leesville. She was a talented floral designer. She decorated many beautiful weddings. She loved to paint. She also loved to sing in church where she has sung for many years.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 52 years, Thomas E. Toney; five sons, James Toney and wife Loretta of Pollock, Dale Toney and wife Sonya of Haughton, Danny Toney and wife Lisa of Leesville, Bobby Toney and wife Donna of Knoxville,
Tenn. and Jody Toney and wife Mary Jane of Walnut Hill; two daughters, Annette Rafferty and husband Eddie of Rosepine and Tommie Lynn Gaskin and husband Thomas of Anacoco; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Eva (Mickey Seaman)
Vincent; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
