Funeral services for Roger Dale Haymon will held
on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. in the First United Pentecostal Church, located at 202 N. Fifth St. in Leesville, with Pastor Mark Christian and Rev. Alvin Glaze officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery on La. 8 West under
the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service of Leesville.
Visitation will start on Friday, Dec. 12 between 4-8 p.m. and resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. until the service time at the church.
Roger was born April 22, 1970 in Belaire,
Texas to Osville and Dorothy Martin Haymon and passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at his residence at the age of 44 years, seven months and 18 days. He grew up in the Leesville area and loved being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping with his boys,
sitting around the fire, popping fireworks and cooking brought him happiness. Even during his sickness, he love to pull pranks and make people laugh.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents and uncles.
His survivors include
his sons, Taran Haymon of Leesville and Tyler and Casey Haymon of Lake Charles; his parents, Osville and Dorothy Martin Haymon of Leesville; his sister, Rhonda Haymon of Leesville; his brothers, Timmy and Kevin Haymon of Leesville; and a host of
friends and other family members.
