Nelson E. “Band-Aid” Stephenson, the son of Thomas
Willie and Eunice Arlean Allen Stephenson, was born Sept. 7, 1951 in Leesville. He passed away at his residence in New Llano on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
Mr. Stephenson graduated from Hornbeck High School as the salutatorian in 1969. He was a
truck driver. He dearly loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Brynda Stephenson of New Llano; sons, Jamie Stephenson and wife Kelly of Midland, Texas, Chris Stuckey of Katy, Texas and Dylan Stuckey and wife Becky of New
Caney, Texas; daughter, Michelle Stuckey of Austin, Texas; brothers, Hugh “Bud” Stephenson and wife Anna of Leesville and Ray McComic of Florien; sisters, Wilma King of New Llano and Pat Deters and husband Johnny of Leesville; nephews, Ricky “Peanut”
Martin of Anacoco and Kenny Wayne Martin of Anacoco; niece, Lawanda Stephenson of Leesville; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service has already been held per Mr. Stephenson’s request. Cremation services
are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
