Funeral services for James “Woody” Woodward, 47,
of Anacoco will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Rev. Wallace Palmer and Rev. Damon Plumber officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial
Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 24 from 5-9 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
James, the son of John Woodward and Irene DeValcourt, was born Oct.
31, 1966, in Zwolle. He passed away at his residence in Anacoco on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
Woody graduated from Leesville High School in 1987. He served in the National Guard for four years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting
and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Woodward of Anacoco; children, Hunter Woodward, Haylee Woodward and Hayden Woodward, all of Anacoco; mother and stepfather, Irene and Jerry Foshee of Anacoco; father and stepmother, John L.
and Susan Woodward of Lumberton, Mississippi; brother, John Woodward and wife Cheryl of Houston, Texas; stepbrother, Donnie Langford of Baton Rouge; sisters, Sharee Foster and husband Keith of Moss Bluff and Danielle Scfidkar of Colorado Springs,
Colorado; and stepsisters, Brenda Fontenot and husband Elvin of Leesville, Gwenda Williams of Leesville, Glennie Abel of Longview, Texas and Blenda Langford of Longview, Texas.
