Funeral services for Lola Yvonne Martin Nelms, 78,
of Anacoco will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home chapel in Leesville with Rev. Larry White officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cold Springs Cemetery in Anacoco under the direction of Labby Memorial
Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
Lola, the daughter of Joseph and Maggie Taylor Martin, was born Sept. 5, 1936 in Anacoco. She passed away on
Wednesday, Oct. 15 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mrs. Nelms was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Floyd Nelms.
She is survived by one son, Bruce and Shannon Nelms of Gloster; two daughters, Rhonda and Mike Ruddick of
West Monroe and Wanda and Damon Bourque of Woodworth; one brother, J.L. and Ingrid Martin of Texas; and one sister, Mable Strickland of Anacoco; two grandchildren, Aaron and Lisa Nelms and Amanda and Eric Radcliff; one great-grandson, Mason
Nelms.
