Funeral services for Lessie Mae Harville Beason
was held on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at noon in the chapel of Jeane’s Funeral Service at 100 East Union St., Leesville with burial following in the Leesville Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Mrs. Beason was born March 1,
1938 in Leesville to Louis and Irmanie Pardue Harville. She passed away on Thursday, Oct. 9 at her residence in Jennings at 76 years. For the past 34 years, Lessie lived in Jennings where she was a homemaker who loved to cook and take care of her
husband, family and friends. Working in her yard and garden gave her great pleasure, and she was loved and respected by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John Paul and Michael Floyd Tibbit; her parents, Louis
and Irmaine Harville; and one brother, Glynn Herbert Harville.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Alvie Beason of Jennings; two daughters, Sylvia Marie and husband Mark Hedgecock of Wasilla, Alaska and Melonie Ann Brunner of
Keithville; two sons, James Keith Tibbit of Rochester, New York and Rodney Craig Tibbit of Mountain Home, Arkansas; sister, Mary Nell (D.T.) Bennett of Anacoco; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
