Ella Yvonne Self Farris, 87, of Anacoco, Louisiana
entered eternal peace on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 in Anacoco with her loving family by her side.
She was a proud member of Anacoco United Pentecostal Church for 66 years. She loved flowers, yard work and reading, but most of all, her
family and God.
Mrs. Farris was preceded in death by her parents, William and Zilla Plummer Self; husband, Keadle Farris; one son, Ronald Gene Farris; one infant daughter, Flora Ellen Farris; four brothers, Elmer John Self, Henry Gene
Self, William Alfred Self and Cecil Enoch Self; and one sister, Mary Doris Self Hilton.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are two sons, Jeff Farris and wife Mitzi of Leesville and Johnny William Farris and wife Sheryl of
Anacoco; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Farris of Sunshine and Rachel Elaine Partain and husband Jerry of Alexandria; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will begin on
Friday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. at Anacoco UPC with Bros. Shannon Buxton, C.W. Dowdon, E.L. Thornton, and Mark Christian officiating.
Interment will follow at Farris Cemetery in Hornbeck.
