Funeral services for Christian Jared Hoskins, 18,
of DeRidder, will be held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2013, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Rosepine, with Bro. Arnold Guzman officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosepine Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of
DeRidder.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Dec. 9 at the funeral home, and from noon until the time of services on Dec. 10 in the church.
Christian, the son of Laurance Clayton and Molly Jean Hoskins, was born July 1,
1995, in Fort Sill, Okla. He passed away Dec. 6, 2013, in DeRidder.
Christian was an inspiring young man with a large heart. He listened and welcomed friends’ cares and concerns. He always had a smile for anyone who needed it. He loved
biking, art, music and working on his Ford Bronco. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his parents, Laurance and Molly Hoskins of DeRidder; brother, Lucas Hoskins of DeRidder; sisters, Mercedes Hoskins of
DeRidder and Leilani Hoskins of DeRidder; grandparents, Kathleen Carson of Rosepine, Ronald Carson of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Lee and Bonnie Hoskins of Kimball, Minn.; great–grandfather, J. Louis York of Wimberley, Texas; and numerous cousins, aunts
and uncles.
