Funeral services for Tena Dianne Boone Jeane will
be held at 4 p.m. on Nov. 16 at the Hearts United Church in Evans with Pastors Ted and Carla Egan officiating. Burial will follow in the Burr Ferry Cemetery, under direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service of Leesville.
Visitation will be from
10 a.m. until the time of services on Nov. 16 at the church.
Mrs. Jeane, 61, of Burr Ferry passed away on Nov. 14, 2013 in Alexandria. She was born Nov. 4, 1952 in Aransas Pass, Texas but grew up traveling with her parents across the
nation. She was Valedictorian of her graduating class of 1971 from Evans High School and was a homemaker and member of Hearts United Church. She was a loving wife, moma, big moma, daughter and friend.
Preceding her in death was her daddy,
Cecil Boone; and grandparents, Lura May and Ernest Lee Jordan.
Survivors are her husband of 43 years, Larry Jeane of Burr Ferry; daughter and son in law, Randi and Eugene Rogers of Anacoco; son and daughter in law, Clifford Brannon and
Leanne Jeane of Burr Ferry; mother, Ernestine”Tena” Boone of Evans; sisters, Sandra Cecile May of Evans, Mary Beth Watson and husband Johnny of Burkeville, Texas; brother and sister-in-law; Danny and Shelia Boone of Dayton, Texas; and six
grandchildren, Jenny “LuLu” Rogers , Justin “Taz” Rogers., Levi Blue Jeane, Jett “Jethro” Rogers, Spyncer Dianne Jeane, and Joe “Deuce” Jeane.
