Home Going services for Brenda Daily Johnson, 52,
of Anacoco, will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 13 at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle in Anacoco, with Pastor Scott Wilson and Rev. Ryan McNeely officiating. Honoring Brenda as Pallbearers will be Wade Daily, Randall Martin, Aaron Pollock, Chris Clemens,
Brandon Clemens and Michael Lamb. Honorary Pallbearers are: Tyson Clemens, Travis Vincent, Keith Harrison and Richard Slaughter. Interment will follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Anacoco, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
The family
will host a visitation from 5-10 p.m. on Nov. 12 at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle in Anacoco.
Brenda was born Sept. 3, 1961 in Las Cruces, N.M., to William and Pamela Daily. Brenda was called to her Heavenly Home on Nov. 10, 2013, after a
long and courageous battle with cancer. Her undying faith was a true inspiration to all who came in contact with her during her illness. Brenda was a beautiful, loving, mother, daughter and sister; she was the oldest of four children. Her greatest
joy in life was becoming a mother to her beautiful daughter and best friend, Karington. Brenda spent many years working for the Kingdom of God as a, Youth Director, Sunday School Teacher, Children’s Church Director, Music Leader, Choir Director, she
played saxophone and also wrote and directed Easter and Christmas dramas as well as gospel songs, she taught many Bible studies, sang for several years with the “Sounds of Truth” and was a true prayer warrior. Brenda worked for many years at Fort
Polk and then later at the Vernon Parish Library. Brenda will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Rev. William D. Daily; and grandmothers, Lillie Ann Daily and Glescia P. Yaryan.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Karington Johnson of Anacoco; mother, Pamela Daily of Anacoco; brother, Wade Daily and wife Heather of Anacoco, and their children Jozie Castillo, Ashlee Daily and Jayla Daily; sisters, Roxanne Clemens
and husband, Chris, of Lufkin, Texas and their children, Heather Clemens and Brandon Clemens; Beth Martin and husband Randall, of Anacoco, and their children Tyson Clemens and wife, Maui, of Pattaya, Thailand, Tori Clemens Pollock and husband, Aaron,
of Anacoco, Cody Martin and wife Jordan, of Ponchatoula and Caitlin Burns of Leesville; great-nephews, Safe, William and Kellan Clemens of Pattaya, Thailand, Garrett Martin of Ponchatoula, and Mason Burns of Leesville; great niece, Tessa Martin of
Ponchatoula; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Melissa Rasberry of Lake Charles, and the entire staff of Dubuis Hospital in Lake Charles, for your wonderful care and love to Brenda and her entire
family. To all the friends who visited Brenda in the hospital, our heartfelt thanks for making her feel so special and brightening her days. To all who sent flowers, cards, brought food or monetary donations for food during our long stay at Dubuis,
we thank you and God bless each one of you.
