Harold Louis Burlison Jr. passed away from this
earth into the arms of our Lord on Sept. 26, 2013.
Harold was a beloved brother, uncle, and a friend to all who came his way. Known to most of his family as Uncle Harold, he enjoyed reminiscing down memory lane with anyone who had time to
listen to old war stories or about his mischievous younger days. Harold, a resident of Leesville and later of Hineston, was a decorated member of the United States Army who served our country in the Vietnam War.
Harold L. Burlison Jr. is
preceded in death by his parents, Harold Sr. and Myrtis Burlison; sister, Nancy; and his beloved wife of 28 years, Janie Marie Burlison. Survivors include brothers, William (Billy) and Jerry Wayne, and his sister, Linda Diane. Uncle Harold is also
survived by a special sister-in-law, Shirlean, and many nieces and nephews; each one held a special place in his heart.
Services will be held on Sept. 30 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Hineston, with visitation starting at 11 a.m., and
services at 2 p.m. Harold will be laid to rest at Mount Moriah Cemetery following the services. Uncle Harold, we will miss you dearly. This isn’t goodbye… We will just see you later.
