Graveside services for Charles Beaty Cushing, 80,
of Leesville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 19 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the funeral home.
Charles, the son of Olind Reid and Dixie Beaty Cushing, was born May 12, 1933, in Addicks, Texas. He passed away Sept. 17, 2013 in Leesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Marilyn Penn Cushing.
He
is survived by his wife, Margie Cushing of Leesville; children, Charla and Grant Spencer of Tyler, Texas, Scott and Pamela Cushing of Leesville, and Karel Cushing and Chris Clore of Tyler, Texas; stepchildren, Aleta and Bobby Moss of Leesville, Ron
Lumpkin of Palmyra, Tenn., and Royce Lumpkin of Jeanerette; niece and nephew, Dixie Lee and Olind Henexon; 22 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or
the American Diabetes Association.
