Linda Kay Garner Westmoreland 69, a native of Leesville, and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Sept. 7, 2013.
Linda was born Jan. 23, 1944, to the late James Patton Garner and Sammie Vayree Valentine Garner of Leesville.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry D. Westmoreland of Baton Rouge; daughters, Dana Lyn Westmoreland of Kingwood, Texas, and Bree Lyn Ferrer of Ponchatoula; grandchildren, Madison Kay Burch, 14, Olivia Vayree Schmitt, 13, Conlan Gordan
Burch, 13, Kyle Frederick Schmitt, 9, and Meredith Ella Schmitt, 9; brother, James Patton Garner Jr. of Shreveport; a cherished cousin, Diana Lyn Soren of Forest Falls, Calif.; an aunt, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and
friends of the family are invited to attend a celebration of Linda’s life from 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 at the Lakehouse Reception Center, 12323 Old Hammond Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
