Funeral services for Elliott “Butch” Ross, 76, of Leesville, were held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 17 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. Morris Dale Goins officiating. Burial followed in the Mitchell Cemetery in
Anacoco, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Butch was the son of Aubrey Russell and Audrey Ray Ross was born June 29, 1937, in Vernon Parish. He passed away Aug. 14, 2013 at the Woodland Care Center in
Leesville.
Butch graduated from Anacoco High School. Mr. Ross served in the U.S. Air Force. He was the former owner and operator of the Yellow Top Cab Company in Leesville. He loved spending time with his family and friends and
fishing.
Butch is survived by his son, Bryan Ross of Leesville; grandchildren, Renee Moseley and Belinda Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Rylee Morgan, Timmy Yarbrough and Colton Moseley.
