Carol H. Rabalais, the daughter of Eddie and
Montie Carlock Hillman, was born Sept. 10, 1942, in Leesville. She passed away Aug. 8, 2013, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
Mrs. Carol was a volunteer police officer with the Leesville City Police Department and a past President
of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion. She retired from civil service as an accountant after many years of service and was a business owner in Leesville. She loved gardening and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents and
brother, Donald Hillman.
She is survived by her daughters, Kay Grimes and husband, Bobby of Anacoco, and Bonnie Morris and husband, Paul of Plano, Texas; brother, Larry Hillman of Anacoco; grandchildren, Sharon Bellamy, Megan Morris and
Mavrik Morris; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
